Jay
learning the strength and frustration of Osage
Orange.
Gretchen being a good dog around the
little
ones.
Mrs. Kirch giving us her Mush-Mouth
impression in
her freshly dry-cleaned
coat - silly
girl.
The
original intention was to keep the fire kind of mellow for
fear of being busted having a fire after
dark.
Ooops! I
was actually on the opposite side of the garage when
this happened. Somehow I noticed the glow on either side of
the garage, went around and found
this.
It was hot enough to burn me
through my
jeans.
Some people pay attention and some people
don't.
We rented some heaters for the garage
where the food was. They actually made a
difference.
Some people
(Jay, Aileen, Jen & Ben) decided to sleep out. Though I
didn't want to, I was made to try.
Around 3am I decided
I had enough and went inside. I wasn't cold, just annoyed. It
was nice to wash my hands, brush my teeth and pass out in
my own warm bed. Too bad Jen's alarms (clock and phone) went
off at
5:30am.
The
aftermath.
We still had sticks to
burn.
The
bigger the ash pile got, the more creative we got with our
fire
ring.
