Went to the Straw's
for a holiday get-together of sorts, but what's a holiday
get-together without NEW TOYS!
I
picked up some Nerf guns for
the boys and Dad to have a Nerf war

Of
course I had to get myself a gun too - a really big
gun

Before dinner we ran
about the house shooting each other. Josh got quite sneaky
with the "corner shots".
Jacob wasn't quite as tactful. He
just ran right up to you and shot you
.
Learning from Josh's prowess, I ran
upstairs and used the banister for cover. I had no idea Bill
was beneath me trying to make a move
.
After dinner we had some time
for a little more play. The last stand was right outside the
boys' bedrooms
Jacob was so tired, he
crawled into his bed
of stuffed animals and went
to sleep without a bedtime story - there's actually a little
boy in there somewhere.
