I started on the kitchen
pantry tonight, but I had to first cut shelves for the main bathroom.
The bathroom shelves went pretty quick. The supports were already there.
All I had to do was cut the shelves to length and rip a 1/4"
off the back. Smooth like
butta.

Here's the
kitchen pantry. Originally it had some home-made adjustable shelf
thingy inside, but we removed it to paint and start
fresh. The goal is to do something like the bathroom shelves.
First add some some supports then the shelves. I got some
cool plastic material for the supports and cheap white laminate press board for the shelves.

Here are the materials
in the "staging area," It's fun transporting 8' sections of
material home in the Subaru. The
smaller or thinner pieces are made of
pvc plastic.

The table saw is quite
handy for a project like this. With a 10" blade any cut looks
straight when you're done.

An in process shot. Of course the inside walls
of the pantry were everything but square. The wall was so bowed in the back each runner was a 1/4"
short.

Voila! The final
product. I don't know if we'll ever have enough stuff to fill it up,
but the space is there if we need
it.
