My attic is ridiculously hot. I
thought the ridge vent and soffits were enough. Not even
close. Installing a gable fan should help move the heat out of
the attic - making the whole house cooler and hopefully
running the AC less in the summer.

hole and test fit. Work more easily done in the
garage.

Mount frame to vent. Make sure
it's all level and secure. Don't need any annoying vibrations
coming from the attic over the
bedroom.
